Distribution of humanitarian aid for thousands of orphans

The HBT organization, on its first round of humanitarian aid for the year 2023, has distributed humanitarian aid. These aids distributed for thousands of orphaned children in the Gyan district of Paktika Province.

The aid distributed will help community members recover from a devastating earthquake. The distributed aid consisted of warm winter clothes and shoes. HBT volunteers identified thousands of needy children in the different villages of the Gyan district. Plus, it took several days of surveys and investigations.

As winter approaches, children are faced with dangerous frostbite in the province. As a result of frostbite, many children became sick. In this round, the HBT organization aid also consisted of winter jackets and a pair of shoes for each child between the ages of four to fourteen.

Distributed aid pleased local residents, and they stated that “We are happy with the HBT organization for their humanitarian aid in this critical condition we are in. However, we request that all humanitarian organizations to stand by our people and help us.”

HBT’s other humanitarian aids

Prior to this, the HBT organization, in coordination with the ALDC, the Mustafa center, and (Afghans living in the Denver community), provided humanitarian aid. These aids included establishing of health centers that featured a mobile team, distribution of clothes for 1230 people, and constructing 20 drinking water wells. Your recent donations have enabled us to distribute warm winter clothes and shoes to thousands of orphans, low income, and disabled children.

Your continued donations will only enable us to reach more vulnerable Afghans. We thank you for your trust and support and continue to urge for more donations.
