Complete food packages in Kabul was distributed to 150 families.

HBT, in collaboration with the ALDC (Afghans living in DC), a DC-based diaspora group, distributed food packages in Kabul to 150 IDP(internally displaced people) families.

The food package for the individual family included rice, cooking oil, sugar, tea, and soap. The recipients of the food packages thanked the Afghan diaspora, who donated generously to this effort.

Gul Ahmad, a recipient of the food packages in Kabul, stated, “It is the first time I am getting aid after I have moved away from my village, and I want to extend my gratitude to HBT charity and those who donated through HBT.”

HBT is committed to supporting displaced families in Afghanistan and their children through the hard times and would like to invite everyone to donate to this noble cause for our future rounds of distributions. We will have many more food distribution rounds to come and post updates on hbt.org.

WHAT WE DO

Our core mission at HBT is to provide holistic support to poverty-stricken children and their families in Afghanistan. By empowering women as primary household providers and ensuring access to essential medical treatment, particularly for cancer patients, we strive to bring warmth, safety, and hope to those in need.
