HERAT EARTHQUAKE APPEAL
HERAT DEADLY EARTHQUAKE

After the deadly earthquake in Herat Province, people, including those with basic equipment like shovels, have begun searching and rescuing survivors from the rubble with their bare hands. The situation, especially for women and children, is dire, and as time passes, the number of casualties is tragically increasing.
As rescue and search efforts continues, it is expected that the casualty count will rise due to individuals trapped under collapsed buildings. Many critical infrastructures such as schools, hospitals, streets, and the water canal network have been either completely or partially destroyed. Survivors of this earthquake are currently residing near their ruined homes without access to clean water, shelter, or sufficient food.
HBT organization is dedicated to providing emergency aid to the victims of this earthquake as quickly as possible.
